Sihanoukville, or Snooky as it is known to foreigners, however, is far from being prehistoric. A mere fifty years old, the town is located south of Cambodia. It is known as Kompong Som or Krong Preah Sihanouk to locals, and dubbed by New York Times as “Asia’s next trendsetting beach.” The French and Cambodians constructed Sihanoukville in the early 1960s as a seaport town, and despite its rough times during Pol Pot’s regime, it has grown through the years as the place to be in Cambodia.

Welcome pick up at the airport in Siem Reap by Bunly Tours&Travel and trasfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from your flight. Stay overnight in Siem Reap

Breakfast is at the hotel,then immerse yourself in the Khmer world to visit Angkor and the unique temple of Angkor Wat, one of the largest and most complete sacral buildings in the world. Lunch is at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom, once a royal fortified city with 5 massive gates. In the centre are the most important temples like Bayon, whose steep stairs and an impressive collection of eerie towers with over 200 smiling faces of the visitors attracted by magic, and the pyramidal Baphuon. You will also visit the Terrace of Elephants, the remains of the Terrace of the Leper King, Phimeanakas and the former royal palace. Round off your day with a visit to Neak Pean temple. This temple is to reflect the Hindu conception of the primordial ocean. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Head north to the temple of Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre of Angkor. The stone carvings at Banteay Srei are of such stunning perfection that his name in professional circles as a synonym for the Khmer art in the period of its formation is used. Lunch is at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the temple of Ta Prohm and Pre Rup. Ta Prohm is overgrown by the jungle and so he now looks almost as it did. Pre Rup, however, was once used as a crematorium. Experience an amazing sunset at Phnom Bakheng before enjoying your dinner at a traditional Apsara dance performance. Overnight in Siem Reap.

After breakfast at the hotel, go to the temples of Roluos group. The buildings of the Group Roluos mark the beginning of classical art and are among the earliest large, built by the Khmer temples. Lunch is at a local restaurant. An entirely different world opens up to you later in the day just outside Siem Reap. Get an insight into the Cambodian handicrafts. Come to know a silk village, and learn where to manufacture. We continue to Les Artisans d'Angkor. In this project sponsored by the EU, young people are trained in the art of the wood and Stone Carving. Today's finale is the basket weaving village. Overnight in Siem Reap.

In the morning drive from Siem Reap to Kampong Thom. There you visit the lost city of Sambor Prei Kuk. Lunch is at a local restaurant. The impressive group of buildings dating from the 6th Century was the capital of the ancient Chenla Empire, which flourished long before Angkor Empire. You also visit the main building of the facility and get an insight into the architectural design of the former Khmer. Have dinner and overnight in Kampong Thom.

The journey through the Tonle Sap basin to Kampong Cham. The lively port city stands apart from their beautiful buildings from the French colonial period mainly through its two hills Phnom Proh and Phnom Srei (Hill of the men & Hill of women). From there, you have a wonderful view of the central Cambodia. Visit the colourful local market, will be offered in the predominantly domestic products. Lunch is at a local restaurant. Visit Wat Nokor Bayon on your journey north to Phnom Penh. This is an imposing monastery days from the 11th century. Visit the famous spider market after the ride along the Mekong and hold in to Skuon. There are insects in all variations as a small snack between meals for local buyers and adventurous tourists. Continue to Phnom Penh. Stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

After breakfast have sightseeing tour in Phnom Penh. Elegant tree-lined boulevards and lakeside promenades are reminiscent of times past, and today this city is bursting with assiduity. Begin your tour with Wat Phnom, the birthplace of the city. According to legend the city was founded here. Then you will visit the Royal Palace, which until today is the official residence of the king, and the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, which contains an extensive collection of artefacts of the Khmer. Lunch is at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng museum provides an insight into the recent tragic history of Cambodia. Finally, you can visit one of the famous markets of Phnom Penh, the Central Market or the Russian market. On both we can walk until the end of the day. Stay overnight in Phnom Penh.
